Montreal, skye.pianist is back!

Super excited to share this program I’ve been touring this summer, now on home turf. I will be, as always, experimenting and tweaking with the ‘creative’/interactive elements of this program. What is ‘creative’ anyways? Sometimes it feels just like me derping around. But in all seriousness, yes no maybe so, but I do believe in what I do. I will keep searching for the most authentic, sincere way to facilitate this art, these connections, these meaningful experiences for my audience - my friends, my community.

Perhaps this time there will be incense, candles (shhh…don’t tell the production office), or treats (ethnic foods?), or a dance party … who knows, I shall see.

What I can promise is that I will be joined by my dearest friends of the Trio Eudaemonia - Julia Weldon on cello and Maitreyi Muralidharan on violin for a special performance of Reena Esmail’s Piano Trio. We worked on this beautiful piece together in Germany, and I can’t wait to share it again.

I’m also using this recital as an opportunity to raise funds for our newly launched Windwood Music Festival. All donations will go towards supporting the artists and costs associated with concerts and community events. This festival has been a long-time dream that is so deeply personal to me. I can’t thank each and every one of you enough for all the support you continue to give. Your time, your smiles, your belief.
